Hello, dear followers of my blog !

Last week I had been looking for some terrain pieces for my wargaming collection, especially for our project on the Tyrolean Rebellion where I will need some more rocks to represent the area of the alps. My comrads and me plan to play several games of the supplement of "Muskets&Tomahawks" called "Shakos&Bayonets".

A good opportunity to find excellent rocks is to look at some shops offering aquaristic accesories. And I found some very good suitable pieces for good prices. Some of them are still on their way but the one I ordered from Amazon has already been delivered.

After having opened the parcel it was clear that I will have to check the size of the rock compared to my figures. And so the next hour was used to arrange a little landscape with rocks, paths, trees, fields and a building. It has been real fun and a perfect balance to my working day. As always.

Just a well-intentioned advice: if you ever had a hard day, try to compensate it by just arranging your figures mixed with some terrain. It works. You surely will feel better. :)

Cheers

Mike

The figures representing the Bavarians are Victrix.

Seems to be a very long way.

A piece of terrain that must not be missing in the alps
A holy cross.

The actual reason for this arrangement of figures ...

... the rock from the aquaristic shop on Amazon.

    1. Hi Christopher,
many thanks. It´s just an arrangement of figures not a real gaming table. But someday we will do a game of Shakos and Bayonets. We would appreciate to have you with us then.
