Hi again,
though it´s only a single figure I thought of posting some pictures of this Roman Legionary from the age of Caesar. I bought two boxes of those guys and this is my master figure for testing how the whole unit could look.
The figures are hard plastic and are very easy to fix and glue. I had fun assembling the single figures.
Please feel free for critical comments. I´m not sure whether the shield is correct or if the silver parts (except the part in the middle) has to be red or even golden. Maybe there is an expert on the Roman armies who can help me here.
Cheers
Mike
First of all I'm happy you're back on the brushes again. 2nd your Roman looks great. I think a whole army in this style would look just awesome. Maybe we'll meet again at Chris' for some gaming fun in the future?
ReplyDeleteThank you, Nick.
DeleteI'm happy that I found time for painting again after a longer time of abstinence again.
Hope to be able to join your company again soon, too.
Mike
Excellent paint job, beautiful details!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Phil. ;)
DeleteHe looks really nice Mike! It's good to see you painting again and like Nick said it would be great if you joined us for some gaming again.

Hi Christopher,
DeleteThank you for your comment. I just repainted the shield and gave a red colour to the vertical rib of the shield (I don't know the English word - in German it is called Schildbuckel).
Hope to see you soon.
Mike
Try shield boss :-)
DeleteGreat looking Rep. Roman - he looks quite fierce.
ReplyDeleteHi Dean,
DeleteMany thanks. ;)
