TeamMiniatures - The Franco-PrussianWar 1870-1871

Manufacturer:   TeamMiniatures

Scale:   1:30 (60mm)

Hi,

As the hobby of collecting ToySoldiers from companies like JohnJenkinsDesigns, King&Country and others is not the cheapest one I decided to concentrate on figures covering German history excluding the GreatWar and WorldWar 2 (for now :) ).
To concentrate on German topics does not mean that I will stop searching for my beloved period of warfare - the FrenchIndianWar.
But I recognized that there are a lot of figures within the ranges of the companies mentioned above concerning German history.

- Franco-Prussian War
(TeamMiniatures)

- German troops of the American War of Independence
(JohnJenkinsDesign and King&Country)

- Ancient Germans
(JohnJenkinsDesign)

- Seven Years War
(JohnJenkinsDesign and FirstLegion)

- German troops of Peking
(TeamMiniatures)

- Teutonic Knights
(TeamMiniatures)

- Napoleonic wars
(I have not searched for these figures yet, but I am sure that there are some manufacturers offering figures of the German states)

I am also sure that only these topics will take some time to collect them. And also a lot of money.
I have already been able to complete some ranges like

- the Leuthen-range from JohnJenkinsDesign
(I have already published a post on my blog about this range)
- the 3rd German Seabatallion from TeamMiniatures
(will be posted within the next few days)
- the Hessians of the AWI from King&Country

But there is still a long way to go.

Yesterday I received the first figures of my next topic to collect. The Prussians of the Franco-Prussian War.

Always the same trouble - there is too much month left at the end of the money. :)

Cheers
Mike

  1. I would doubt that a heavy Bismarck ever charged this way:-) The helmets are looking good!

  2. They are lovely figures, quite stunning. I have to agree with the too much month and not enough money, happens to me all to often!! Looking forward to seeing more of your collection as you progress.
