Hi,
on my trip to the "Figurenmesse" in Bad Nauheim last weekend I got some foes for my Prussians and Bavarians of the Franco-Prussian War 1870-71.
The poses are really amazing.
Cheers

Hi,
This weekend I joined the "Figurenmesse" in Bad Nauheim, Hesse, Germany, for the first time.
Just to get an impression of what´s going on there. There have been a lot of Hausser-Elastolin figures for sale, both in 7cm and 4cm and also a lot of conversions. I also have seen a great number of Lineol-figures from former times but also from today´s production. It was great fun to visit the show and a lot of memories of my childhood came up that remembered me of my own battles I had fought with Elastolin, TimpoToys, Airfix, Matchbox and all that stuff.
But my special interest was to buy me some more toysoldiers for my own collection. So - though I sometimes thought of also buying some Hausser-figures - I concentrated on my beloved figures of JohnJenkinsDesigns, TeamMiniatures and King&Country.
I think I won´t revisit this show as the "Zinnfigurenbörse" in Kulmbach is the much better fair for my interests, but for those who are dealing with Elastolin and so on this show is a Mecca for sure and I can only advice to give it a try.
Here are some pictures of the show. Hope you enjoy. :)
Cheers
Mike
4cm Germania-figures suitable for Hausser Elastolin. They are sold unpainted. There are also some of them in my own pile of shame. |
Also often to be found - selfmade dioramas and conversions. |
Figures of the company Lineol of today´s production. |
Also Lineol - Winnetou, Old Shatterhand, Old Firehand, ... |
... and Old Webble. |
I just thought about buying just one of eht Mountys. |
Again Lineol |
The most popular range of Lineol is WorldWar II |
The DAK was very nice. |
Most of the orders come from America. |
A look inside the TIger - all parts are removable. |
