Toysoldiers - JohnJenkinsDesign - The Irish Regiment "Lally" in French duty

Manufacturer:   JohnJenkinsDesign

Scale:   60mm (1:30)

Hi,

following one of my earlier posts this one is about the next figures available for the Irish Regiment "Lally" that served within the French Army of the SevenYearsWar in India.

The arrangement with the hill is just for a quick better look. For I don´t know about the looking of the terrain of India yet and don´t have any idea how to set the figures perfectly in scene I will put them on one of the shelves within my showcase.

But the figures do look brilliant. The sculpting style of JohnJenkins has improved during the years though I also like the older style very much.

Cheers

Mike

Toysoldiers - SYW French Army - The Irish Regiment Lally at the Battle of Wandewash

Manufacturer:   JohnJenkinsDesign

Scale:   60mm (1:30)

Hi,

in my opinion the French Army of the SevenYearsWar is the most colorful Army of this time. The original French regiments wearing white or grey uniforms, the German regiments wearing blue uniforms and the Swiss and Irish regiment wearing red ones. Especially the regiments of Switzerland and Ireland are really standing out.

I don´t know if JohnJenkins has ever heard of my preference for these regiments. In fact he started a range about the Battle of Wandewash where the Irish Regiment Lally was in service.

I like this new range very much. Here are two links to my beloved website of Kronoskaf.  The first one is about the regiment itself and the second one is about the Battle of Wandewash in India.
