Toysoldiers - New additions to my project of the "Tyrolean Rebellion"

Manufacturer:   PianoWargames

Scale:   60mm (1:30)

I took the chance of four days off to get some more of my Tyrolians ready for my project. Unfortunetaly I was not able to do more of them because of other things to do.

But I also got some 3d-printed tree stumps and rocks from TEMU and I tried to paint them up to fit to my toysoldiers. They came out quite well in my opinion.

Cheers

Mike

The three new figures added to the display.

Addition number one.

Addition number two.

And finally addition number three.

Some of the tree stumps I got from TEMU.

The outcome of three of them that I already painted up.

They don´t fit to 28mm scale figures - or do they? Maybe in the woods of Canada for gaming
Muskets and Tomahawks?

Some 3d-printed rocks I bought from TEMU.

One original rock in comparison to some ready painted ones.

Just combining the rocks, tree stumps and some figures in 60mm.

I think this works very well.

The new terrain stuff integrated to my growing display of the "Tyrolean Rebellion".

Partizan Wargaming Show 2025

Ok, you might say that this post has a great delay as Partizan 2025 took place on 18th of May this year already. So this was three weeks ago. But sometimes things will need their time to be done. And the most important reasons for this delay are - I had been too busy and also too lazy.:)

So here is my delayed short report on Partizan 2025 and I will concentrate on the photos I have made. YouTube has already some videos on this year´s show and also Ray has posted a very good report on his blog "Don´t throw a 1". Like at Warhammer last year I was able to meet Ray this year at Partizan, too. I enjoyed it very much.

Some personal comments on the show - I have been there for the first time. As I come from Germany visiting conventions in the UK is always attached to a journey of a few days. It is not like travelling to Hamburg to visit "Tactica" or "Crisis" in Antwerp there you can do the trip within a weekend or three days. It is more than a short trip and it is also holidays.

The show itself is one of the best of its kind and as I am a historical wargamer in my opinion it´s the best one I have ever been as it concentrates on historical themes. At other shows there is always also a great part of SciFi or Fantasy. That´s nice to see but not my point of interest. And the quality of the gaming tables is top. My personal highlight has been the show table of SevenYearsWar done by Bill Gaskin. Real eyecandy as you will see in the following pictures.

But before that here are some links to posts or videos about this year´s Partizan Wargaming Convention:
