Hobby in general - Our visit to "WargamesFoundry"

On our trip to this year´s Partizan Wargaming show Christopher (aka Axebreaker - https://christopher-bunkerhill.blogspot.com/), Franz and I took the chance to visit some of the most famous companies dealing with our hobby.

- WargamesFoundry

- WarlordGames

- GamesWorkshop

- CaliverBooks

These visits have been amazing, looking at the displayed figures and all the stuff - you would have needed a lorry or a truck to take all the things you would like to have. And of course you would have needed a cash cow. So I kept calm and - believe me or not - I just bought five packs of figures at WargamesFoundry and one book and also only a few figures at CaliverBooks. Also knowing that we will spend more money at Partizan - and I was going to meet a collector of toysoldiers who was going to sell me a lot of figures. Maybe you have seen them already in one of my former post (https://dreispitz.blogspot.com/2025/05/toysoldiers-quite-huge-addition-to-my.html)

For I took a lot of pictures there I decided to split the visits and give each of them a single posting.

First of all the following pictures will give an impression of WargamesFoundry. https://www.wargamesfoundry.com/

This compay is located in East Stoke, a beautiful place in the country side near Newark.

So here comes part 1 of our hobby tour.

Cheers

Mike

Franz and Christopher in front of the gates of Wargames Foundry.

A lot of blisters had already been packed for next day´s Partizan Wargaming Convention.

But there had been enough left to get weak and stress the purchase.

One of the numerous showcases at the store.

Though not my interest of collecting - these displays of painted figures are always inspiring.

Some figures of 40mm scale.

Look at the old guys in the mirror slavering as they look at the miniatures. :)

Just the second room with lots more of blisters and painted figures.
