Hi,
today´s post is about the game we had at Christopher´s House on the 1st of May. We decided to play the Battle of Harlem Heights, placed in the AmericanWar of Independence.
As always the setting of Christopher´s terrain and all of his figures had been real eyecandy.
Christopher (aka Axebreaker) planned the scenario and it worked perfectly. Franz and he played the Americans while Sebastian and I decided for the British. And we really got kicked in the ass. :)
I am sure that Christopher will also publish a post on his blog, too. So my post will only show some of the pictures I took from the game, including some close-ups of the excellent painted figures of Christopher.
If you are interested here is a link to his terrific blog:

and also to the report about the Battle of Harlem Heights.

Super looking game and Christopher's AWI collections is really quite superb.
ReplyDeleteHi Donnie,
DeleteChristopher is a very talented painer and it is always a pleasure to game with him.
Lovely game. Great terrain and figures.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks, Duke. :)
DeleteThank you for taking pictures of the game and showing it and what great time I had! I'm really looking forward to the next one! Just a couple of really bad breaks for the British did them in or the Americans would have been in trouble if those Grenadiers would have made it. I'll get my pictures and report up soon.

Hi Christopher,
Deletebeing in good company is more important to me than winning a game. Sebastian and I rolled horribly. But who cares if you can enjoy a day with good fellows.
