Toysoldiers - A selfpainted "Hospitaller Knight"

Manufacturer:   ReconquerDesigns

Scale:  60mm (1:30)

Hi,

in order to finish the set from ReconquerDesigns of a Muslim Warrior fighting against a Eropean Knight I painted up the knight as a Hospitaller Knight in the style of toysoldiers. The problem was that the 3d-print did not come out perfectly. The sword was not printed correctly and also the sword scabbard was not printed completely. I had to scratchbuild both missing parts from a piece of wood and plastic card. But I managed it and completed the figure.

So the duelists are now ready to be included into a showcase. This showcase was just set up for taking some photos and it is a wild mixture of figures of several manufacturers. There are some King&Country, JohnJenkinsDesigns, TeamMiniatures and a single figure, that originally is not a toysoldier. But it fits well in size and so it found its way into the little photo session,

Cheers

Mike

The finished Hospitaller Knight.

The set of duelists from ReconquerDesigns.

Again I couldn´t resist to bring the fighters into animated action. There are three different variants.

Here comes the setting of the mixture of Crusade figures.

An overview - the next is a short video for more detaiil.

The Muslims are defending the gate. The castle is paper made from King&Country.

A siege tower is always necessary to storm a castle (King&Country)

The figure that normally isn´t a toysoldier in front of a medieval tent (K&C).

The duelists from Reconquer again. In the background the two
Almoravid archers from JohnJenkinsDesigns that I used as  a
tempate for the Muslim warrior.

Mounted Templar Kinghts (TeamMiniatures) attack the mounted archer (King&Country).

An unequal fight of two Crusaders against one Saracen (King&Country).

Templars (one K&C, two TeamMiniatures) attack the Almoravid archers (JohnJenkinsDesigns).

Again one brave Saracen is fighting against two Templar Kinghts (King&Country).
