"Black Watch Miniatures" - Austrian Infantry of the SevenYearsWar

Manufacturer:   BlackWatch Miniatures

Scale:   normally 1/72, but printed in 60mm (1:30)

Hi again,

one of my best friends, Uwe Wild, is a collector of figures scaled 1/72 and also a specialist in uniforms.

If there is a lack of figures in the normal ranges he publishes his own sets or ranges to close these gaps. One of his newest sets is a range of Austrian Infantry of the SevenYearsWar. The range comes as stl-files and can be printed with a 3d-printer.

You can see Uwe´s figures and his wonderful posts concerning figures and military history by following these links.

I am not a collector of 1/72, but the fact that Uwe´s figures are coming as stl-files I was thinking of scaling them up to 28mm for my wargaming collection and also to scale them up to 60mm to be used for my collection of toysoldiers.

The first attempt was printing a test figure in 60mm. I painted it as a soldier of the Regiment "Kaiser".

Unfortunately my 3d-printer is out of order at the moment. I hope to be able to make it work again very soon. The next attempt then will be to print some miniatures of that range in 28mm.

Cheers

Mike
